Schaffner extends the EMC filter series with very high performance EMC filters FN2520 and FN2660 for Robotics and Datacenters.
Revealing the more powerful filter series to tackle challenging EMI environments.
The new series comes with two magnetic filtering stages and still fits into one standard height unit.

Higher Attenuation Performance and 19-Inch Rack compatible

Where you need higher performance, the new filter series feels right at home. The new 2-stage filter circuit provides strong common-mode attenuation (above 70 dBµV) in a compact housing. Core applications are harsh electromagnetic environments with many parallel installations.

Numerous applications, including robotics, datacenters and autonomous machines require power supplies to be mounted in 19” rack cabinets. To accommodate this and provide system builders with seamless integration, Schaffner have packaged the new EMC filter series in a space saving 1U rack-mount design.

Easy Mechanical Integration

The FN2520 & FN2660 EMC filters are easy to integrate into standard rack mount cabinets just like their smaller series versions. Many applications, including robotics, datacenters and autonomous machines require power supplies to be mounted in 19” rack cabinets. To accommodate this and provide system builders with seamless integration, Schaffner have packaged the FN2500, FN2520, FN2640 and FN2660 EMC filter series in a space saving 1U rack-mount design.

Versatile Connections

The new FN2520 & FN2660 EMC filters are available with a range of connection options. These include IEC C14 (10-15A) or IEC C20 (16-20A) input connectors for direct mains connection and a range of output connectors. For available internal assembly connection options on input and output these include push-on terminals, cable glands, screw terminals or spring terminals.

Key Features

  • Input voltage 250 VAC @ DC to 60 Hz (FN2500 277 VAC / 400 VDC)
  • Output current 10 to 20 A @ 40°C
  • MTBF > 300,000 h
  • Operating temperature range -40°C to +100°C (with derating >40°C)
