Specifically, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with proven design and integration skills.

We need you

Your Tasks

  • Mechanical design responsibility of EV’s powertrain components from RFQ to SOP

  • Integrate electrical components into a mechanical assembly

  • Design for Manufacturing of complex parts – injected plastic, over-molding, bended metal parts

  • Prepare concept design and packaging studies

  • Participate in creative brainstorming for concept generation

  • Mechanical stress analysis of new and existing parts via Simulation and/or experimental test

  • Evaluation and problem solving of the typical Automotive stress’ related failures – Vibration and Shock tests

  • Develop and maintain design documentation, including internal/external standards, DFMEA, etc., required to meet product performance requirements

  • 2D drawing generation and release

  • Coordination and execution of the design transfer from R&D to production center

  • Maintain CAD system and files

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent

  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar position, including knowledge of using 3D software and creating technical drawings using CATIA V5 – Knowledge of PTC Creo is an added value

  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards

  • Familiarity with PLM/ERP

  • Proven expertise in mechanical stress analysis

  • Understanding of the different materials, manufacturing techniques and surface treatments as well as the associated process limits

  • Knowledge of technical documentation (e.g. bills of materials, design history, revision control)

  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines

  • Flexible, enthusiastic and self-motivated personality

  • Clear and concise communication with excellent coordination, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Fluency in English
