As a Research Engineer - Active EMI Filters, you will join our international team which is very passionate about developing innovative future-oriented products to improve power quality and EMI noise reduction. We are seeking a creative engineer to help us master the technical challenges of existing and new technologies.
Responsible for the design and realization of discrete analog EMI filter circuits
Lead and coordinate system simulations of Power Electronics systems and application
Create concepts and designs for new products/ processes and submit idea disclosures
Technology monitoring & evaluation
Design and create printed circuit board layouts (PCB) (incl. high frequency designs)
Realization and experimental verification of prototypes
Deliver relevant contributions to the technology strategy that drive a future vision and create building blocks for future products and technologies
Participate in design reviews, present results of formal analysis, prepare project progress reports and research summaries
Create documentation to support design/development changes
Build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal development partners worldwide
Electrical Engineering Degree
Thorough understanding in analog electronics and in control theory
Strong know-how in power electronics
Broad technical background in the design/development of advanced Printed Circuit Boards
Strong programming skills in Matlab or Python
Simulation skills (Spice or similar) combined with expertise in prototyping, troubleshooting and failure analysis
Ability to look at the wider context and to think at the big picture
Hands-on and problem-solving mentality to challenge "status quo"
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines
Experience influencing business and product decisions using research and data
Superior creativity and imagination with respect to new products, processes, procedures
Fluency in English
