We are expanding our key account management team to further grow our business. Together with your colleagues you will support our global key accounts in the industrial division. You have the opportunity to be entrepreneurial and play an active role in your job. To be successful you need a passion for sales combined with knowledge of electrical engineering.
Develop and maintain strong and lasting relationships with the appointed key accounts by implementing appropriate sales strategies that lead to high customer satisfaction and substantial growth
Plan, prioritize and manage global sales activities with key accounts
Acquisition of new business within the key accounts
Developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure Schaffner becomes a visible supplier within key accounts seed C-level connections
Coordinate projects with the local sales manager as well as with product management and R&D
Create key forecast, monitor market and industry
Review needs and orders with key accounts, discuss and solve specific problems to ensure key accounts are being served timely and properly
Complete regular reporting as required and maintaining client databases in CRM
Contribute to the continuous development of the Schaffner sales strategy by suggesting improvements, including product changes, marketing and pricing
Commercial or technical degree (Bachelor / Master) plus relevant experience in sales, customer relationship management or similar
Several years’ experience in B2B-Sales, preferably in an equivalent position with impacting business acumen
Knowledge of / affinity with electrotechnical products is a must
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
Hands-on mentality suitable to an entrepreneurial environment
Committed and goal-oriented individual with an open-minded and positive mindset
Fluent in English and German, French is welcome
