Schaffner appoints new Head of Automotive division

 

 

Luterbach, 31 May 2018 – The Board of Directors of Schaffner Holding AG has elected Martin Lütenegger (48) as Head of the Automotive division and a member of the Executive Committee. He will take up his function on 1 November 2018.

 

Martin Lütenegger holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the ETH Lausanne and a diploma in marketing from the University of Berne. His professional track record includes executive positions in division management and market development in internationally operating companies in the automotive supply industry, including from 2001 to 2007 as a member of the Executive Board of JESA AG and from 2007 to 2012 as a member of the Executive Board and a member of the Automotive division management of Styner+Bienz Formtech AG (Adval Tech). Martin Lütenegger currently leads a division of Sonceboz Automotive SA.

 

Günther Werkmeister, who has successfully positioned the Automotive division of the Schaffner Group in the automotive industry as a leading manufacturer of antennas for keyless entry systems for cars and supplier of filters for hybrid and electric vehicles, will hand over the lead of the division as part of an early succession process and will continue to support Schaffner in another function in an advisory role.
