Luterbach, Switzerland, 19 December 2019 – Max Bänziger, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Schaffner Group, will leave the Group to take on a new professional challenge. He will step down from Schaffner Executive Committee at the end of January 2020. Until a succession has been resolved, Martin Köppel, Head of Global Quality of the Schaffner Group and former production manager, will take over the tasks associated with the COO function on an interim basis. Max Bänziger joined Schaffner Executive Committee in January 2018.
