Global Key Account Manager (f/m)

To strengthen our team at the office in Luterbach (Switzerland) we are looking for a/an
Global Key Account Manager (f/m)

Your tasks

In this newly created position, you have the chance to build up Global Key Account management from the scratch! Plus you chose your place of work: either at our headquarter in Luterbach (Switzerland) or in our sales unit in Karlsruhe (Germany).

  • Develop and maintain strong and lasting relationships with the selected accounts by implementing appropriate and unique sales strategies that lead to high customer satisfaction
  • Plan, prioritize and manage global sales activities with key accounts
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the local Sales Manager to further enhance the relationship
  • Review needs and orders with key accounts, discuss and solve specific problems to ensure key accounts are being served timely and properly
  • Complete regular reporting as required, including providing current customer contact information for the CRM
  • Provide market forecasts for the key accounts on a regular basis. Collect, analyze and use market intelligence on key accounts
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the Schaffner sales strategy by suggesting improvements, including product changes, marketing and pricing
  • Closely working with internal product management and R&D department

 

Your profile

  • Commercial or Technical degree (Bachelor / Master) plus significant experience in Sales, Customer Relationship Management or similar
  • Knowledge of / affinity with electrotechnology is a must
  • Several years’ experience in B2B-Sales, preferably in an equivalent position
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
  • Hands-on mentality suitable to an entrepreneurial environment
  • Committed and goal-oriented indiviudal with an open-minded and positive mindset
  • Fluent in English, German is welcome
  • Willingness to travel
