Environmental Responsibility Environmental issues are important to us, and as such we base our material selection on factors such as recycling and disposal in production, packaging and transport. The 100% conformity to the EUs RoHS Directive is essential for us, therefore all our suppliers have an obligation only to support and supply products that meet the Directives requirements. Here at Schaffner, we only accept material that conforms to RoHS.

Market and Products We work with all departments to reduce costs of existing items and also work with new concepts to influence purchase suitability. It is an important task for us to involve competent suppliers early in the development process.
Associate Development We are able to cope with the increasing requirements in the purchasing process by specifically improving the technical and soft skills of our associates.
