With the launch of the new FN 3025 and FN 3026 three-phase filters, Schaffner is setting clear priorities with respect to the mechanical housing concept. New single-phase filters from Schaffner are convincing in their optimized mounting concept and help the control cabinet builder save considerable amounts of assembly time. | Compact new filters, for PCB-mounting in DC-DC converter applications, have been launched by leading EMC filter specialist, Schaffner. The FN 409 series is an extension of the companys widely adopted ranges of PCB filters and is targeted directly at DC applications. | The FN 5010 output filter significantly restricts the excessive dv/dt and overvoltage stress on the motor windings caused by the inverter's PWM-signal. This effectively increases the service life of the motor by reducing the likelihood of failure, and the significant down-time costs associated with maintenance or replacement.
